Europex – alongside eleven other organisations representing the hydrogen value chain – welcomes the creation of the first European Hydrogen Regulatory Forum in Rotterdam, a great opportunity for dialogue between policymakers, regulators and industry stakeholders.
Over the past years, the European Union has positioned hydrogen and its derivatives as a central pillar of its climate, energy and industrial strategies. However, despite the stated level of ambition, ramp up of the market has faced delays, underpinning the need for regulatory adjustments.
To support the development of a viable and competitive hydrogen market, the joint statement calls for key priority actions.
